The Best is Yet to Come…
“Matt Martino re-emerged on the music scene in 2018 after a five year hiatus spent recovering from a neck injury that nearly derailed his career. But what started out as an experiment to simply try to infuse music back into his life grew into a full-fledged re-launch of his career.
After the 2007 release of his debut album “Let it Shine”, Martino enjoyed a successful and burgeoning career with lots of promise, peaking in the late 2000’s. “Let it Shine” garnered Grammy attention upon it’s release, which led to multiple placements in tv and movies, including the CW series 90210. Matt was awarded the DISCovery award by Music Row Publications and the increased exposure within the industry led to more touring and new releases. But while his music career was on the rise, his health was on the decline. Touring decreased as physical limitations manifested, and by 2012 had all but ceased.
The recovery was slow, but 2018 saw a legitimate return to writing, recording, and touring, and while momentum built towards a new music career, progress towards a healthy life was realized as well. 2019 will see Martino touring across the United States, both as a solo artist and with a band, and for those who remember the artist that Matt Martino was….you will be excited to hear the improvements. It’s Matt Martino 2.0.”
